In our work with Beautiful Soul, a professional training and coaching organisation based in Dakar, Senegal, we offer tailored made strategies to enhance authentic leadership, support positive change management and improve collaboration and communication within teams.

I loved a team-building that we did in 2024 with the World Food Programme, where we took a moment with the whole team to share stories around the bonfire at full moon, to honour the knowledge and experiences of the 'elders' in the team who were about to leave, and for them to pass on their knowledge to the new members of the team who had just joined. They in turn shared stories of what they were grateful for since first joining the organisation and moments that had touched them.

Accompanied by a talent griot, Richard, everyone danced and sung into the night. Yes, taking these moments to listen, play and connect outside of the typical work environment are so important for fostering trust and effective work relationships.
