Hello, and a warm welcome,
My name is Catherine Elizabeth and I am so
happy to connect with you.
I’m an accredited Transformative Coach and Expressive Arts Therapy Practitioner, accompanying individuals, organisations and communities to reconnect with their inner wisdom and creative power, to uncover new possibilities for growth, transforming insight into action.
Let me tell you a little bit about myself and what
One Singing Heart is about.

My Path here
Growing up I remember wanting to travel to Africa and, however clichéd it sounds, wanting to make a difference, to do something
positive in the world.
Life has taken me on many paths. Growing up in the cultural and linguistic melting pot at the center of Europe, Luxembourg. Working in the humanitarian sector for 10+ years. On adventures around Asia as a spiritual seeking nomad. Being a mummy to my 7 year old son...
I have now been living in Senegal, West Africa,
for the last 10 years. Here, I co-founded a yoga studio with an outreach programme for women and girls. I have collaborated with international organisations to enhance collaboration for change makers. I have facilitated healing spaces for underserved communities working with expressive arts support to mental health and wellbeing.
I am passionate about building bridges between people and communities through culturally aware, expressive arts practices that allow
people to be fully themselves.
Why I do this work
So what does having a positive impact in the world look like for me?
Well, first I believe it starts with kindness as a daily practice.
And then, offering what I can in service of our
personal and collective wellbeing.
I also believe that when we connect with our essence - what makes our hearts sing - a ripple effect extends out across the threads which connect us all – and the world sings too.
And when the world sings, it reverberates back to each of us. This is where the magic happens. The place where we can transform ourselves, our organisations, communities and our planet.
My professional journey
As an accredited Transformative Coach and Expressive Arts Therapy Practitioner, I am particularly interested in the expressive arts - visual arts, movement, sound and writing - as tools for expression, connection
and meaning-making.
My work is grounded in the belief that growth is a life-long process. I integrate expressive arts, deep listening, and body-based practices to gently support people through change, challenge, and re-connection.
My approach is trauma-informed, culturally sensitive and grounded in mental and emotional wellbeing as a human right. Find out more
about my coaching approach, and my work on my blog.
I look forward to connecting with you.
From my heart to yours,
Catherine Elizabeth
