What is coaching?
At One Singing Heart, coaching is more than a structured conversation—it's a heartfelt journey of transformation. It's about creating a safe, compassionate space where you can explore, express, and evolve.
In my coaching work, I often witness the deep relief clients feel when they have a neutral, trusted presence — someone they can confide in without judgment, who holds space for what’s close to their heart, and who serves as a sounding board for where they are now and where they hope to. Someone who is there to accompany clients as they gain insight to make changes in their life.
WHY EXPRESSIVE ARTS and YOGA?
When appropriate for client, I bring in expressive arts-based activities from drawing, yoga, breathwork and role play into my coaching sessions. Why? Simply put, throughout history, creative expression has played a pivotal role in expression and healing.
Modern research affirms what many cultures have long known—engaging with the arts has profound benefits for mental and physical health, helping clients to express and process emotions, and reconnect to a sense of agency and meaning.
Ongoing studies led by my teacher Dr Paul Dallaghan into the impact of yoga and breath work are also demonstrating evidence base result that these practices can significantly contribute towards reducing stress and increasing longevity.
