MY APPROACH

I’m an accredited Transformative Coach and Expressive Arts Therapy Practitioner, accompanying individuals, organisations and communities to reconnect with their inner wisdom and creative power, to uncover new possibilities for growth, transforming insight into action.

With me, coaching is more than a structured conversation—it's a heartfelt journey of transformation. It is about creating a safe, compassionate space where you can explore, express, and evolve.

In my coaching work, I often witness the deep relief clients feel when they have a neutral, trusted presence — someone they can confide in without judgment, who holds space for what’s close to their heart, and who serves to accompany clients as they gain insight to make changes in their life.

A Holistic Approach

My approach is holistic, weaving together deep listening, expressive arts, somatic awareness, and practical action. I create a gentle, calm  space for you to explore what is present and move toward greater connection and alignment with yourself and your path.

A Person-Centred Foundation

Rooted in the approach developed by Carl Rogers, my work is grounded in the belief that each person holds the inner resources to grow, heal, and move toward their fullest potential.

Rather than offering advice, I create a space of deep listening, compassion, and unconditional positive regard — where all parts of you are welcome. In this environment of trust and non-judgment, clarity, self-connection, and transformation can gently unfold.

I don’t see myself as an expert who gives answers. Instead, I walk alongside you, trusting in your own knowing. Together, we create a space where what is present can be held with compassion, and new insights can emerge from within.

From Presence to Action

Growth and change require both deep presence and meaningful action. It also helps to have a playful and curious attitude! True transformation happens when inner insight meets external action. That’s why I support you not only in exploring your emotions and experiences but also in taking practical, tangible steps towards taking full responsibility for the changes you want to make in your life.

Arts for Expression

Sometimes words are not enough. Through art-making, breath work, movement, and creative expression, we can access intuitive, embodied, symbolic ways of knowing.

Across cultures and throughout history, the arts have played a vital role in healing - through the visual arts, music, movement, storytelling, and ritual. Today, modern research affirms what traditional wisdom has long known: creative practices and  support emotional well-being, reduce stress, and promote holistic health.

In my work, these practices gently support emotional well-being, and invite new perspectives. No artistic skill required, just an

openness to explore.

Yoga and Body Intelligence

Cultivating body intelligence is essential to being fully present and connecting with what’s alive inside us. Through yoga, breathwork, and conscious movement, we access deeper layers of awareness, resilience, and transformation.

Research by Dr. Paul Dallaghan highlights how breath practices can significantly reduce stress and even support longevity, affirming what many ancient traditions have long known.

This is also at the heart of the work shared by the Hendricks Institute, which explores how tuning into the body’s signals opens powerful pathways for change.

In my practice, these tools gently help clients reconnect with themselves from the inside out.

Culturally aware, trauma-informed, and a human rights lens

My work is rooted in an awareness of cultural context, systemic challenges, and the impact of trauma.

I offer a coaching space that acknowledges and validates each individual’s lived experiences, coaching in the presence of trauma, understanding how past experiences shape emotions, behaviors, and identity today. While coaching can be a powerful tool for healing and self-discovery, where appropriate I will refer clients to specialized psychological support.

I also approach my work underserved communities with a human rights perspective, recognizing that mental health and well-being are deeply interconnected with social justice.
